Making is medicine. Studio Twenty Six is a creative salon at 5303 Claremont Ave, Oakland for art, costumes, classes, events, and happenings. No experience required.
Founder Tescia Seufferlein is an artist, costume painter, textile maker, and teacher. She studied Practice of Art at UC Berkeley, painted costumes in Brooklyn including Broadway work, and earned an MFA in Textiles from California College of the Arts.
The studio exists to make the sublime accessible: a room for color, mess, experimentation, ritual, beauty, and real community.
